This is another RARE Blue Note Title Toshiba EMI reissued,
Fred Jackson Hootin' And Tootin'
King Record NEVER reissued this title and this is considered as one of the minor titles of Blue Note I believe.
There is a change of trend from modern jazz style to more soulful, R&B style Jazz in the 60's toward the early 70's. I don't know about conservative Jazz lovers but I personally love that trend.
Fred Jackson is one of the early musicians who lead that trend.
Toshiba EMI did a great job reissuing this Hootin' and Tootin'.
I know this album didn't sell at all but I personally love it!
