Are These Blue Note Premium Reissues Good?

Nowadays, the price of these Toshiba EMI Blue Note Premium Reissue titles is skyrocketing on the market here in Japan...the series is
Blue Note Premium Reissue Series
These reissues were released in 2004 in Japan. The unique point of this series is that they used
The RVG Master
When I saw that for the 1st time, I thought that they used the RVG cut stamper or something. But I found out later that they used the digital tape RVG himself remastered these Blue Note titles.
You know Blue Note US had that project around that time in CDs.

The cutting was done by one of the legendary sound engineers in Japan called, Toru Kotetsu in Japan and pressing was done at Toyo Kasei. They also used heavy 180g high quality vinyl.
I rarely get these Premium Reissue copies but this time, I got a bunch of them.

Do they sound good?

Well...

As I listend to them, the sound is much clearer for sure, and sounds great especially high and mid.

But...the cymbal sound is digital...little noisy.
The balance is good though...

The pressing quality and sleeve quality are really superb and I love the gorgeous OBI too.
My conclusion...Even if there is this downside using digital tape, still, this series is a collector's item series.
